Straight poetry. Margaret Atwood is such an old name for such a spirited soul. She has a way of spinning words together, not with contractions and verbs but with the collective human consciousness. She reminds us we are both glorious and awful (the way we treat each other and the planet) and asks us to take accountability for both.

i liked this. it was fine. it was one of those reads where there were a few poems that i really liked but overall majority of them didn't resonate or wow me. but, i am glad i read it as i want tp continue to expand the poetry i read.
