i liked this. it was fine. it was one of those reads where there were a few poems that i really liked but overall majority of them didn't resonate or wow me. but, i am glad i read it as i want tp continue to expand the poetry i read.

Poetry is difficult to review. Saying that this collection is filled with poems dealing with loss, death, climate change and misogyny really does not give it justice.
This is a very accessible poetry, which is not a bad thing. What made Atwood’s poems stand out for me and also what made them such a pleasure to read was the skillful use of alliteration, repetition and wordplay, combined with frequent slant rhymes. And aliens. She really got my attention when she mentioned aliens.
