Fun book! Appreciated how short and concise it was. Neil Gaiman accomplishes a lot with very few words and simple descriptions, which I think is an underrated talent. I don’t really dabble a ton in this genre, but I personally found the plot and world building quite original. I’d rate it as less than perfect because the first parts about Wall were slow for me.

Love this author, so I loved this book. The movie skips much of the plot, and changes things around. The book was better, and such a fun read.

strong into the woods vibes

Very good book. Different from the movie but I recommend both versions to get the different experiences available.
