This was too picture-perfect, shallow and exactly what I needed after Onyx Storm.
This booked lacked depth in reasoning, emotions, and the characters. It simple was too superficial and didn’t make me think once. Which, depending on your mood, is nice. And personally I think I read it at exactly the right time for me.
Sadly, I can’t give it more than two stars even if it was nice to read. I probably won’t remember this book in a month and I won’t be reading the next installments in the series.
I will say though, I loved that there was no third act breakup.
Give this is a chance it you want something fast, fun, that would make you roll your eyes at how silly it is. And don’t make me talk about the whole Ora thing, just no.

The perfect fantasy, binge-in-a-day, romance that doesn’t leave you with a cliff hanger and wraps it all up.

*Viciously Yours* is basically fantasy porn with a sprinkle of plot and very mid writing. If you're looking for a quick read to get you out of a book slump—and probably get you off—this one's for you. The story itself isn't groundbreaking, but it's fast-paced enough to keep you turning pages, and let's be honest, the main appeal here is the steamy scenes.
The spice is plentiful, but like the writing, it's pretty mid. What really gets you going isn't the quality of the scenes but the sheer quantity. While the plot is mild and the character development thin, it's a guilty pleasure that doesn't pretend to be more than it is. This book has helped me get over a reading slump. It was sweet and fluffy with some darker elements but I was totally there for all the romance.
