New to me author and I’m not usually into supernatural or paranormal but so glad I picked this up. Fun, light read and Alexander Cendese and Iggy Toma are two of my favorite narrators. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Light-hearted, fast paced, endearing golden retriever energy. eccentric human and not understanding humanness hell hound made for an entertaining combination.
I'm confused about who some of the side characters are, I suspect they're in another book.

This was pretty endearing and I read it start to finish but it didn’t quite hit all the spots I was looking for? It was a bit too insta love/lusty and I would have enjoyed more pining but some of the thought processes were pretty funny.

I really enjoyed the characters, the story, and hellhounds in general. I liked the references to Macy Blake's amazing Chosen Universe. I thought the writing was a bit amateur, or something. It gave an unpolished AO3 vibe. Not that everyone on AO3 is unpolished, not by a long shot. Just that I come across it occasionally on there, and this book feels the same. Not many misspellings though; I read the book yesterday, and then read book 2 when I should've been going to bed so my brain is a lil fuzzy, but I can only recall an instance of "peaking" that should've been "peeking".
Anyway, the creativity and innate talent are there, and as I said I already read the next book so I am clearly enjoying these books. Matter of fact, I pre-ordered book 3 and have borrowed book 1 of the other series to read next.

Who knew murder and torture could be so much fun? I was lucky to snag an ARC from GRR from this - it looked like it might be fun and it was! Toby is a paranormal romance author who spends too much time in his head and doesn't really know how to people. Dex lives next door and as a hellhound, he is even more clueless. These two were so sweet together, even with all the murder and mayhem. I'm so glad I read this and now I can't wait for the next in the series.
I've just re-read this book in preparation for How to Hack a Hellhound. Whilst waiting for this book, I read the whole Demonic Disasters series. Whilst it's really not necessary to read them before this series, I found my second read more fun as I had a better understanding of Paradise Falls and its inhabitants
