Dan Santat's story makes for a hilarious dramatic read-aloud, an introduction to the word "fiasco," a beginning fractions lesson, and comfort for anyone who, like the hippo, accidentally breaks things when nervous.
Absolutely hilarious, with a little mathematics to boot! Once more, Santat's illustrations charm.
