I gave it 5 stars though amazing isn't the word I would have chosen. It's a great book and the narrator was fantastic. I loved seeing Don's world turned upside down.

An enjoyable read. Under my new rating guidelines, I'm only going to give 5 stars to phenomenal and/or life-changing books, and while this doesn't make the higher standards, I'm still glad I read it. We had a good discussion at book club, including wondering what someone with Asperger's would think about the novel and recounting our own (and those we had heard from others) lists of criteria for partners.

Loved it. The ability for others to see the Aspergers's yet for the main character to not see it all was so true to life. Loved how the characters interacted and story progressed.

A genetics professor with Asperger’s Syndrome is trying to find a life partner by handing out questionnaires. Despite failing his compatibility criteria, Rosie turns Professor Don Tillman's life upside down - as he helps her uncover the identity of her biological father. This is a charming, feel-good romantic comedy that Bill Gates included in his list of "Six Books I'd Recommend". A Hollywood adaptation is in the works. Recommended.

This is the first book I have devoured in a long time. The story was like a breath of fresh air. The characters were well developed and interesting. In a sense it was a classic romantic comedy, in another sense it was so different, the characters were anti-romantic leads. I laughed and I cried and overall came away totally satisfied.

It was an interesting book. I didn`t love it or hate but l'm giving it a 3 out of 5. I felt like I was reading about The Big Bang Theory, a little too similar to Sheldon. I felt like the relationship between Don and Rosie was a little too far fetched. It`s a small book and I think it was fine because if would have been too long, I would'nt finish it.

Don is a thirty-something science professor, extremely intelligent and rational but lacking in social skills--think The Big Bang Theory; the only thing he can’t figure out is why he keeps thinking about Rosie. According to his calculations, she would be totally unsuitable as a wife. I really enjoyed this humorous romance.
