3.5 to 4 Stars!

This was good. I'm not the biggest fan of friends to lovers just because I don't really enjoy unrequited love. The only thing that made this stand out more is a bit of development half way through the book. It's a spoiler so I won't give up the goods, however, it turned a mediocre trope into a bit of excitement. I borrowed the audiobook on audible escape and really loved the two narrators. I'm pretty picky about narrators and I would happily listen to more books done by them.

Sexy and Steamy. A good read with a lovely heroine and a HOT HOT hero (and his best friend)!

With the release of Curtis, I wanted to re-read and read the Walker Brother books again. I have read some but not all of them. I am so glad that I did. The Walker Brother know how to rock everybody's world.

OMG, I wish I had started with this Walker Brothers book first. It was fantastic and helped put Holidays with the Walker Brothers in the correct place.

Kaleb Walkers has had a crush on Zoey Stranford for over twenty years but he didn't want to lose his best friend. So he kept his feelings to himself, that was until he overheard Zoey talking to V about kissing him. So he thinks about pursuing her but he has another problem. Him and his brothers are trying to buy some land of Zoey's dad. He doesn't want Zoey to think he is only going after her for the land. When in fact, he would have Zoey over the land any day.

Does Kaleb get Zoey? Do the Walkers brothers get the land? Read the book to see!!

I would recommend this but and I am off to get the next one now.

The timeline bugged me a lot. I could never get a good feel for how old anyone actually was, and I had a very hard time figuring out exactly how old the Walker parents were. They'd been married for 50 years, so they were married for like 15 years before they had children? I hated that I got so hung up on something like that, but it really bothered me. I was also bothered by how childish Zoey acted. She was supposedly late twenties, early thirties, yet her reactions were like she was really a teenager. Kaleb was just as bad. They should have just sat down and talked like rational people. I didn't find Kaleb to be all that "dark" or his desires to be "forbidden." For me, it was repetitive, and I kept wondering how old the characters really were. All of the brothers needed to be told to grow up already.

I have to say that this really hit the spot. I was in such a book funk and had no idea what I wanted to read. My partner in crime was randomly throwing out books and this one just happened to come up. Low and behold, it started screaming at me and I couldn't help but to dive right in!

I seriously loved this book. I loved the connection between Kaleb and Zoey. I loved their friendship and loved the deeper feelings they had for each other. That's definitely one of my favorite things in a friends to lovers story...the connection that exists between them and how things change for them when they finally admit to having deeper feelings.

This was my first book by Nicole Edwards, but it definitely won't be the last!

This book was

So you may be asking, why did she only give it three stars? Well, here's why. Kaleb and Zoey together was off the charts...here comes the but....but there wasn't enough of a storyline. It was interesting enough to keep me going, but I really wish there had been more going on besides them tearing up the sheets.

Kaleb and Zoey have been best friends since they were kids. They have always been there for one another but never crossed the line between friend and lover nor had they ever talked about it, though they both thought about it plenty, especially Kaleb. He has been in love with Zoey forever, even when she was married to another man. After her divorce, she moved back with her father to help take care of him as he has Alzheimer's. Zoey doesn't realize the financial trouble that they are in.

Kaleb and his brothers want to buy some of their land that they are planning to put a resort on, Alluring Indulgence. Kaleb decides enough is enough and it is time to cross that line, but he doesn't want Zoey to think he is using sex to try to convince her to sell the land to them. Can they get past this little bump in the road and be more than friends with benefits?

While this book fell a little short for me, I have heard that the books get better and better with each Walker brother so now it is time for Zane.

Not much depth here. Decent story, jumps straight to it without much build up or angst. Probably won't continue the series.

I listened to this baby while I was walking on my treadmill. I was kind of going in cold on this one. This is the first audio book that I've heard with a male and female narrator. Can I just say....dang Mr.Bates' voice got me all worked up. Color me all kinds of surprised when I heard the first threesome with Mr.Bates' voice, check please! I had to stop the treadmill so I could listen to it, in great lengthy detail. REWIND! Uh, the story was good but I could go on and on about his raspy dirty talkin' voice in my ear. So hot! I need to get caught up on her other books asap!

Great read!

Crazy sexy hot ménage book! Awesome storyline. Wonderful characters. I can't wait to read each brothers story! It's bound to be a steamy ride!

Really unsure about how I feel after reading this.
