HOT!
What a great opening book for the Alluring Indulgence series! I've heard many things about these books so I am super happy to finally start reading them.
Kaleb starts the series off. He's one of the older Walker brothers, there's seven of them! Yum.... The three oldest want to open a new resort, special invite only if you know what I mean, but they need to buy some more property owned by their next door neighbor, whom just happens to be the father of Kaleb's best friend, Zoey.
Zoey and Kaleb have been friends for years. They know everything about each other. Zoey even knows some of those sexual fantasy rumors about Kaleb are true...not that she experienced them herself though! Heaven forbid!
Well, at least until one night when she opens her big mouth telling her girlfriend Vanessa that she's fantasized about kissing Kaleb before and he happens to be standing right behind her! Chemistry sizzles from there!
They decide to become friends with benefits and hot and steamy doesn't even begin to describe their encounters! Zoey is way more into the dirty kinky stuff than Kaleb could have ever dreamed! So much so, she agrees to multiple menage scenes with Kaleb and his buddy Gage. Not that she wants a relationship with both, just a good time. Kaleb and Zoey quickly fall in love with each other since they already had feelings to begin with.
Wow...just wow. Super yummy scenes that don't ever seem to end! No complaints here!
Also, not that you have to read them ahead of time....but characters from the Club Destiny series, also by Nicole Edwards, make an appearance here, and I'm assuming they will in more too. So, now I definitely want to read those too!

A quick read with literally no complications whatsoever. I expected some sort of a love triangle. This is my second book from this genre. Overall a good read.
Kaleb, what is there to say about Kaleb? I finished this book last night and decided to sleep on my thoughts before writing my review.
I didn't hate Kaleb, but I didn't fall head-over-heels either. I've been enjoying so many books lately that contain that alpha male, dom character and Kaleb didn't disappoint. There are a lot of steamy scenes in this read, which I'm sure everyone enjoys.
While the sex and a whole gang of Texan cowboy brothers will keep you salivating, I prefer more of a love story to go with it. This book certainly had one, but it wasn't presented as clearly, and I certainly didn't expect a threesome relationship to take place. I wasn't opposed to it, but I felt it was thrown in more for shock value than adding to a significant plot point.
The end of the book wound up rushed out of nowhere. Just as the characters are discovering their true feelings (and actually voicing them), the author speeds through a business dinner and a huge milestone for the main couple. While it was spontaneous of Kaleb, I just thought there would be a bit more romance and intensity involved that just wasn't there. Didn't do it for me.
Lastly, I DESPISE when published authors have little to no creativity when it comes to word play and description. If I see the consistent use of the words "pussy", "dick", or "cock" one more time, I may scream. I've read plenty of other books that change things up and keep it interesting. Repeating the same terms just has me skimming over pages and losing interest. It gets boring quickly, and any sex, even in literature, should NOT be boring. It's one of the reasons I put 50 Shades down before hitting the 3rd chapter.
I'm a sucker for sticking with things, so I'm probably going to continue with the series. Maybe it'll get better, but only one way for me to find out, right?

i dont normally say this kinda stuff but. this book is really bad. im a little shocked about it.
over all i liked the girls which is the only reason i kept going
also it ends on a cliffhanger.. (threats)??? what threats there was a fight or two but .. author you didnt say what happen in the brawl, or did you really go too indepth on threats .. kinda less than random but still

These are my favourite kinds of erotica...the ones with an actual plot and level of romance all on their own, with some fabulous steam added in for good measure. I found it a little slow to get started, and I can't even really relay why that was...I was stupidly distracted by age inconsistencies at the beginning (sometimes I thought they were different ages, but then I did the math from when Zoey got married at ?22?, and got her at currently 32...yes, I know it's unimportant, but it distracted me). However, once we got into the steam with Kaleb and Zoey, the whole plot picked up too. OMG, the menage encounters were hot, and I actually enjoyed and *believed* that they could make an occasional menage with Gabe work and not stress out their relationship. That was refreshing. I haven't read a similar book in a while, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one....will definitely be checking out the next ones in the future, and have already added the first Club Destiny book to my wishlist.
A good read but I felt like it was missing something. Call me a sucker but I liked post sex snuggles. The sex scene where hot but some of the relationship building was missing.
Hot hot hot!!! Nicole Edwards is one of my new favourites!!! Moving onto zane ASAP
