I really loved this book! I’m not sure why it isn’t quite a 5 star read for me, but it’s just my gut. Sorry Liz, but you still wove a wonderful story
I love this book. It is slow in the beginning but the last two parts make it worth it!

this book found me at the perfect time. I hope to bask in how I feel having finished it for a few days.
Took me a little while to get into it, but then I loved it.
SO GLAD HER AND FELIPE ARE MARRIED NOW!

I may be the only person on Earth that really doesn't care for this book. I hate weak women...I'm not going to lie.
What a funny great honest novel.
I was enraptured by the realisation I was not reading a fictional action adventure but about the author herself.
If you are going to visit Italy, India or Indonesia anytime soon (or want to) this book has dazzling gemstones of insight.
Gilbert details a spiritual journey so wonderful, I have taken up yoga and meditation properly.
Please note I did not get paid to write this review, it poured out of me cheesy and five film stars like by accident.

I actually enjoyed the story but I just thought the writing style and the flow of the book could’ve been better

Solid 3.5 but I’m rounding up. I thought I was going to eat this book up but it took me SO long to get through. I enjoyed the sections set in Italy and Indonesia but had a hard time with the section set in India. Something just rubbed me the wrong way about how she talked about the people and experiences there (probably projecting from my own experience though!). The first 1/2 of the book felt super bogged down with details about her mental health struggles - interesting and important, but not what I expected!
