It is entertaining and offers some insightful life lessons... but I couldn't help thinking throughout the entire book "this woman is absolutely crazy!"

I have a myriad of emotions about this book. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Gilbert's writing style is witty, and engaging, and keeps the reader entertained throughout the narrative. I appreciated hearing about her personal growth and healing journey, and I found her honesty throughout the book refreshing.

However, I concur with other reviewers who feel that Gilbert could have delved deeper into acknowledging her privilege and how it facilitated her ability to go on such a journey. While her story is undeniably inspiring, much of what she accomplished may be unattainable for the majority of readers. It would have been beneficial for her to dedicate a chapter or section addressing this aspect.

Additionally, I have mixed sentiments regarding her time in India, although I acknowledge that I may not be the most qualified person to critique that segment of her journey. Ultimately, it was her journey, and I believe she must be forthright about her perspective.

Although I don't agree with all her views, this was entertaining and she did have a few good insights

I think it's impossible not to find something in her experience that you can relate to.

I savoured this book with everything
It changed my mind and still to this day I enjoy solo dates and and my time alone so much more  - I always recommend this book for any soul searching peace

An unglamourous book that glamorises finding yourself and enjoying every bite

Drove me nuts! with the preciousness and preachiness of it. I didn't even read all of it: I started it, got fed up, flipped a little further along, got fed up, flipped to a different section, got fed up--you get the idea.
I know many people enjoyed this book; I'm not one of them!
