Sarah Morgan’s A Wedding in December follows the story of a family coming together to celebrate the wedding of impetuous youngest daughter, Rosie, who is marrying after knowing the man for three months. Secrets abound, doubts surface, and will anyone live happily-ever-after?
Morgan has created very believable, though not always likable, characters in A Wedding in December. All the female characters seem to keep secrets under the guise of protecting family members, and each discovers that protecting is a form of trying to control; we all know that’s impossible.

This is a perfect book for the Christmas season! It’s a cute, fluffy romance set in a fluffy setting.
I enjoyed that this book was not only a romance but a family story as well. I loved the dialogue and the relationship between Rosie and Dan was ADORABLE!
The biggest turn off for me was the character Katie. She was unbearable and so annoying and I tried to relate to her and justify her but I just couldn’t, and I dreaded her POV chapters to be honest.

I love Sarah Morgan's Christmas books. I love the families she creates and the challenges they have to overcome. And this one swept me away just like the others. This one follows a mother and her two daughters as they deal with the changes in their lives and where to go from here. They come together during the holiday season for one of their weddings and chaos and romance and love ensue. It was equal parts fun and emotional. If you like books about families, about women in different stages of their lives, about relationships both old and new, and the holiday season filled with snow and magic, definitely check this one out. Also, I think I could have done with an entire book focusing on Katie and Jordan.

Slow at the beginning, but I loved it by the end! What a real, raw family story about healing.
Real relationship issues, real pain, and just the right amount of Christmas magic that helps everything end well. A satisfying read.
This was a lifetime-y Christmas story with stereotypical characters - romantic sister, skeptic about love sister, and a couple who has lost the romance. I don't mean that in a negative manner; sometimes that is exactly what you need during the holidays! It was a family drama in a cheesy Christmas location (Colorado mountains in wintertime). Could be exactly what you need to escape your own family drama during the holidays!
I wasn’t sure about the book in the beginning but quickly was loving the book. There was a bit of a secret for one of the characters, there was humor and romance but most of all the book was so descriptive I actually felt like I was there and one of the characters and was in CO at Christmas. It is very rare where I felt like I was part of the book.
