Lovvvveeedddd. Lots of complex characters which kept the story interesting. Loved the multiple perspectives. And the perfect amount of Christmas romance cheesiness. Only disappointment was not enough closure on Katie and Jordan. I need more solid answers

This was the first book I read from this author and I was looking forward to reading it. I feel 3 stars is a bit harsh but i also don’t feel it’s a 4 star! Maybe a 3.5!
Firstly the chapters are soooooo long!! It will put me off reading any other by this author if they are all like that! There wasn’t even paragraph breaks so you felt like it was impossible to just sit and read a quick chapter.
The story it’s self was nice and easy to read. Predictable but these kind of books always are! I did find the main 3 female characters really annoying though and I didn’t feel any connection to them at all. Especially the elder sister.
I would recommend though if you want a nice cosy easy Festive read set in a beautiful setting

A lovely heart warming, book about family and their romantic relationships. It's a lovely story, and set in a wonderful wintery place! A perfect Christmas novel .

This story was a heartwarming holiday romance!

The story followed three narratives: Maggie and her daughters, Rosie and Katie. I liked to see an older woman have her own narrative in the romance. I’ve heard complaints that contemporary romances are usually about younger girls in their 20s or 30s. Though two of the narratives were about girls of that age, one also told the story about their mother who was at a different place in life.

The story was set in December, but it wasn’t completely Christmas themed. I think it could be read throughout the winter, not just at Christmas. There were some Christmasy parts, but mostly it was about winter in Aspen. I loved reading about the snowy activities they were doing, while I was warm indoors. I liked reading about the snowball fights and sleigh rides, but I’d rather stay inside and read about it instead.

I really enjoyed this book!

Thank you HarperCollins for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Beautiful Christmassy read.

Loved the writing style. So easy and nice to read.

Predictable ending and storyline but that’s one of the joys of rom com stories.

My first read of the year! After many holiday DNFs, this was a pleasant surprise. I have no idea how this ended up on my radar, but I thought it was the perfect amount of cheerful and witty. I enjoyed the 3 POVs and character growth, especially with Maggie, the mother. I enjoyed reading about her reflections on her choices in motherhood and marriage, and the storyline of falling back in love after 30 years of marriage (it’s like an antidote to insta-love).

I loved everything about this book. It was warm and cosy and had such a lovely Christmas feel. I’ve never really read Christmas books before and now I’m wondering why?! I’ve also found a love for the easy reads that feel like a warm and cosy hug. Definitely help to take a step away from normal life and feel better about things. I will now be recommending this book to everyone ❤️

What a truly wonderful, Christmassy novel!
The characters were loveable and I was rooting for all of them. Maggie and Nick’s plot particularly sucked me in and I so wanted them to have a happy ending.
The setting was beautiful and enchanting. It really got me into the festive spirit and made me jealous of their white Christmas.
Katie was a great character and the author depicted her worries and struggles well. I loved the scenes between her and Jordan as the chemistry was electric and jumped off the page.
Rosie was super sweet and I also enjoyed her chapters.
Even though the novel features chapters from the perspectives of three different characters, you still find a way to connect with them and learn to love them.
The ending was absolutely perfect and left a warm fuzzy feeling in my Christmas loving heart.
I will definitely be reading more novels by Sarah Morgan in the future.
