I loved the snowy Aspen & luxurious hotel setting! In the beginning I liked the three love stories interwoven into one book. In hindsight I would have prefered only one because somehow all three were a bit underdelevoped.
This book was cute but also annoyed me in some parts. I felt like Katie was so annoying and all the self doubt that Maggie had was repetitive and irked me. There were some really cute parts though so overall t was a good read.
I received this book as an ARC copy to read awhile back and finally got to reading it and glad I finally did. I was in a little bit of a reading slump and this one got me out of it. You might think this is a Christmas book because of the title and it being in December but its not quite a Christmas book but is set for around the time of Christmas.
This story is told between three characters, Katie, Rosie and Maggie which are all among the same family. Two daughters and their mother and they all have their own drama. Rosie who just got recently engaged after only being with Dan for a few months is getting married now on Christmas. But is this too soon? Will she have doubts?
Katie who is Rosie's older sister who is a very hard working doctor who find outs her sister is getting married and Katie doesn't feel that this is right and wants to get this wedding cancelled because she feels its too soon for her younger sister to be getting married so quickly when she barely knows this guy.
Then there is Maggie who is their mother and always worries about everything and is also going through a "Secret" divorce with her husband Nick which her daughters have no idea about this and they want to tell them during Christmas time.
They all fly out to Colorado for Rosie's wedding and all the drama comes into place but yet theres also other changes that happen as well during their stay. How will this divorce affect their daughters? Will Rosie go through with this wedding? Will katie get what she wanted and get it called off? Only you can find out!
This story is filled with love, drama, friendships. It was a great read and definitely would recommend the book for others to read!

4.5 stars. This was as heartwarming and emotional as I thought it would be. The problems faced by the characters were very relatable and realistic and I liked how they all unfolded.
My only real problem was that
I really enjoyed the parents' story, and thought that Katie and Jordan's plot was very predictable but cute too.
Overall, a very wintery, cosy book that I read in 2 sittings!

Spoiler
I didn't think that Rosie and Dan should have got married at the end. I know that was the whole point of the book, but to me their argument literally hours before the wedding in which Dan declared absolutely that the relationship was over was a huge red flag. They should have at the very least postponed the wedding. Then after they say their vows, he says 'Well Rosie Reynolds, it's too late to change your mind now'... uhh not great!I really enjoyed the parents' story, and thought that Katie and Jordan's plot was very predictable but cute too.

A cozy read that pulls at your heartstrings. I absolutely loved the setting of this book. I wish I could stay in one of the treehouses that this family stayed in. It seems like the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. I also fell in love with the characters. Following how each character developed was such a joy. I personally related to Maggie the most. I’m a mom of three and am getting to the point of having some leave the nest soon. I could feel Maggie’s sadness over the fact that they wouldn’t be celebrating Christmas at home for the first time ever. I haven’t had to go through this yet but I feel it on the horizon. Also, her relationship with Nick was a great reminder to still have fun no matter the length of time you’ve been married. Overall this was a well done Christmas book!
