Wow! The first 20% was kinda nuts. It definitely made me have the feels, and all the emotions came out of the woodwork for this book. I gave 4 stars because there were parts that were confusing and over dramatic even for their age, a little more unrealistic then I typically enjoy. All in all a great read that wish I would've read sooner. Jake Andrews is definitely hot stuff!

Forced myself to finish this was unrealistic and I don't mind that when is done good but this was super boring.I hated Jake and Kayla, and their insta-love. One star is for Cam & Lucy and Logan overall yikes.

I have only listened to a few audio books as I tend to just use the text to read option on my kindle while I am working, driving, etc. I was pleasantly thrilled. The readers were great and fit the characters perfectly. The text to read option on my Kindle is monotone for male and female voices speaking. It really puts you into perspective of the book and you are able to get a feel of the characters.
I love Mikayla and Jake together! Jake is there for Mikayla through everything even though he just met her. It really is a crazy and emotional ride through this book, but totally worth the read.
If you have not read or listened to the book yet, I suggest you grab your copy now!

DNF: read 3 chapters but the writing style was so elementary level. “I did this”, “she did that” kind of style and it made me feel like I was reading fan fiction or something.

A very mature book, but with a very interesting story of loss, love and death. This book made the things seems real and funny at times. Jay Mclean wrtiting isn't the best but however when you think he was trying to be hip with the kids by using popular references and phrases, (well he was) only made it more entertaining and less off putting. More Than This is a must read.

Reread because I'm invested in these characters and this story is just so good.

I should start this off by saying, I'm a sucker for romance novels. Like seriously, my guilty pleasure is a good fallin' in love and rollin' in the sheets kinda story. Even cheesy ones can be enjoyable for me. And because of that I didn't want my first 5 stars of the year to be a romance novel. I tried to be objective.

But boy did I enjoy this book. I went through all kinds of emotions! I was so invested, finding myself laughing out loud and physically shifting in my seat so I could get in a better position to absorb the story. I started off questioning the reasons behind some of the biggest plot points and automatically thought they would hurt the story in the end. Oh but no, Jay McLean (author) knew how to bring things back just right.

Now I'm not saying this is a literary masterpiece but I did LOVE IT! The characters were charming, I laughed out loud, I teared up, and even got turned on a few times (TMI, lol) Is everything super realistic? probably not. But let me just enjoy it.

The reason it gets a five stars is simple cause it made me feel while reading it. Like, really feel. I cared so much about these characters, about what this girl was going through. And I'm a sucker for love, when all else fails I can relate to a girl wanting love..
