I went from a mediocre sort-of Dave Grohl fan to a BIG Dave Grohl fan after reading this book. Great stories told with honesty, humility and authenticity.
Grohl makes a point of showing his immense gratitude for all he's gained in life. He's truly worked hard for everything he has and still maintains a 'fans' perspective of other artists that I thought was really enduring.
I haven’t read a lot of biographies, but this one just may be my favorite.
I love Dave Grohl more than his music. His spirit is so exuberant, child-like and infectious. There is a reason he is known as the nicest guy in music. This book chronicles his extraordinary life with superb storytelling. I smiled so much reading this book I wanted to share his words with everybody. I want him to be my friend.

I couldn't put this book down! Dave is an amazing storyteller and I missed reading these stories after being finished with the book. Some biographies can be so flat, but this was incredibly engaging for me. Makes me think if I can also learn drumming on pillows...
