This book is fucking amazing. Dave Grohl is fucking amazing. I loved everything chapter of this book. The emotional parts, funny parts, and random storytimes are perfectly balanced to make an excellent book.
This story filled my music loving soul. Dave Grohl truly is one of the good guys of rock (even with his more recent headlines). You can tell that every interaction and experience he's had in his life was meaningful to him. I loved reading about his musical history and would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves any of his bands.

I just loved this so much! I didn’t want it to end! Dave’s stories of rock n’ roll legends made me laugh and cry! I can’t stop talking about it. Highly recommended!!
Without a doubt, the best autobiographical thing I’ve ever read. I’ve always been a pedestrian Nirvana/Foo Fighters fan at most, but it’s undeniable that Dave is a great story teller.
i started this book forever ago but just got around to finishing it. i know he’s made some questionable life choices now but this was such a great insight into being a musician and some cool tidbits about people i really look up to. was rarely bored. would recommend!
