Dark romance shouldn’t be a slow burn & this book is being advertised as a dark
Romance & I made it 25% through the book & nothing has popped off yet. There’s more mystery & questions then anything & not in a good way. I was in the mood for a true dark filthy romance & this let me down so bad.

This book was somewhat disappointing. The first half is bad. Like I wanted to dnf. The only thing that saved this book was when the reverse Harlem type stuff was happening. Like before that I was so bored and could barely get myself to read it but after all the boys were introduced I was into it. I’m sad that the story is over like 5 books. I hate that. We’ll see if the other books keep the momentum. 3/5

Oh My That ending
This was my first book by this author and the twists had me dying. Then ending was fantastic and what we found out had me jumping up and down I can not wait to read more ! I love why choose romances and mafia but I love even more that it’s about Maddie discovering what she really wants which is a why choose!
