It was an okay introduction to a bunch of characters, kind of repetitive of the girl playing with all the boys but fine nonetheless. Nice plot setting.

Glad I stuck with it!

I had tried a few times to get into this book the past few months and I just couldnt! I was struggling to get absorbed into the story and then I tried again. I am so glad I did because I finally broke through whatever barrier was stopping me. Now I am invested and can't wait to five into the next one!

I am very interested in this plot and I like that it’s different from Zodiac Academy. Elise, who already knows all her powers, sneaks into Aurora academy to avenge the death of her brother. She is extremely cocky and knows she is pushing boundaries with the other students. 

The boys in this book seem a bit less annoying than the ZA boys. I like Leon the best so far. He seems like he actually cares about Elise and isn’t just wanting her to side with him. Ryder is intense, but I love learning about his Basilisk order. I mean being able to transform into a giant snake is pretty awesome. Gabriel is mysterious, sexy, and also a jerk. He can’t seem to pick a side. He either likes Elise or he doesn’t. 

I am interested in seeing how the relationships turn out. I can definitely tell Elise is going to get with multiple men in this series.
