i went into this book expecting to be heartbroken and i was!! i really enjoyed it adores the writing and i really loved how different the internal voices were? like their language. i think that lipincott did such a great job at differentiating the two main characters with just their internal monologues, something i feel quite a few authors can’t really do?? or not as well as least…. anyways i also really liked the setting, it was so different which made it 10x more interesting and fun!! the plot was also literally perfect i had a blast!! overall such a fun book, i loved it so much, i really need to read more from this author!!

Why did I put this off for so long again? I’ve read “she gets the girl” by this author also and I loved the writing in that book so I knew I would like but oh my god. Lucy and Audrey?? Are you kidding me?? So cute
DNF at 60%. This is not a pride and prejudice retelling. It does not take place in Pittsburgh. It’s horribly written. It is not researched at all. What a silly, lazy terrible book.

That was the weirdest/worst ending ever. Like I thought the whole thing was cute and then the author got to the end and didn’t know how to finish so they just…wrapped it all up in the least inventive way ever. Like a child. Writing a book. Also, why is the MC in high school??? I feel like that’s weirder. Tf is a high school declaring their love for.
