This series is completely bizarre and goofy but my son is into them! He wants to read the next one, which is all the motivation I need to get it from the library.

A great book for reluctant readers, those with a short attention span and fans of Wimpy Kid.

This book are FANTASTIC; I would have LOVED them as a kid. They’re great for fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid - especially if they have parents that dislike Greg Heffley’s dislikability. Additionally, reluctant readers will enjoy this series because all of the wonderful illustrations make them quick reads. The first one only took me about 15 minutes. My favorite part of the stories was the boys’ imaginations and how kids’ wildest dreams can come to life in these books. I can’t wait to read the next few books and tell of the kids at the library about them.

Read this with my 8-year-old nephew because he loves these books. While the book itself looks thick the high quantity of illustrations breaks up the story really well and helps my nephew focus on the story for a longer time. Highly recommend it for children of a similar age.

Now I know what kids are reading. Humorous, but chaotic. Fun read and I can see why kids love it.
