I enjoyed this book more, than I did the first one in the series. However, I didn't enjoy the beginning or the end. The middle-ish part was really good though.

This series has a huge immaturity about it. The characters remind me of Junior High schoolers, rather than college students. But it felt like that matured a bit in the middle, which was really nice. Another thing about this series is the OVER THE TOPness about it. Everything is drama, and too much. Who's lives are really like this?

I knew that Logan and Amanda were getting 2 books, so I was prepared for something bad to happen. However, "the bad" that happened was too much for me. It was a bit much, but still in the realm of realistic. BUT Logan just had to go and do what he did, which made me roll my eyes again. I really was excited to give this book 4 stars, because I wasn't much of a fan of the first book, but the ending killed that 4 stars real fast.

I will, however, continue on with the series, because I have a feeling it's going to get better. At least, I really hope it does. Plus, I really want to read Lucy and Cam's story!

Logan F****** Mathews.

Logan is so much more than what most people see the only ones lucky enough to see the real him are his friends and Amanda.

Logan and Amanda have an intense connection from the very beginning. When they are good everything is right in the world. When things are bad they are atomic bomb level bad.

Logan had a past that he thought was behind him but it seemed it was just waiting in the background ready to ruin him.

This was incredibly emotional and although I have read it before I am keeping this review short because I need to immediately start More Than Him

Emotional read

This was a very emotional book, be prepared for a hit to your heart. This is my 6th time reading Logan’s story. This book starts off slower than the first, there is so much we learn about Logan’s background and what obstacles he has overcome. In the first book you would never think he had so much going on or the unspeakable things that happened to him. He doesn't let his past define him, he doesn’t use it as a crutch. He is often referred to as "Asshole" by his friends, it is used mostly as an endearment. He projects this easy carefree persona to everyone, the girls, the partying. It's like he doesn't want to be taken seriously. He does what he wants, he gets what he wants, because he's "Logan Fucking Matthews" But he truly cares about his friends, and his dad, his career. He's not just some dumb jock. Jay McLean really knows how to make you fall in love with her characters. Like seriously I want get "layooked" by Logan Matthews. Amanda, lets talk about Amanda. She is perfect for Logan. Amanda has her own family drama going on when she takes a chance on Logan. Logan messes it up their first time due to he thinks he is secretly in love with his best friend's girl. Once Logan opens his eyes and he realizes the full force of his feelings for Amanda things start to get interesting. She Fucking hates him lol and He is just so happy have stumbled back into her life. Amanda has a secret that she is keeping and when it comes out Logan blames himself and tries to push her away from him. He cares about her so much, and I could just beat him over the head! Like seriously, just tell her how you feel! It would have saved me boxes of Kleenex. Amanda and Logan finally get their break and everything is perfect, I should have know it was too good to be true. Logan's past comes for him and puts Amanda in danger, he can't forgive himself and everything is left in pieces...including my heart. Then next installment is a continuation of Logan and Amanda. and it is Everything we didn't know we needed!
