I liked this a lot less than the other issues in this series. I found a lot of this volume just lacking unfortunately.

I enjoyed this, but slightly less than the other installments. While I really enjoyed Bucky as Cap, finding more about his past, and seeing him work with Tasha (not so much Namor because Namor is always annoying, no matter what), the villains in this volume came off kind of lame. I mean a stereotypically snooty-sounding French dude who wears purple suits and a scarf? Plus, Doctor Chin was kind of a let down because he ended up being yet another villain-who-wants-to-destroy-the-world-to-save it.

I really enjoyed this novel as well. Although, it wasn't as good as the first one I read. It was hard to catch up with where the story was within the overall story line. I had to look up online exactly what was going on and it spoiled it for me in a way.

I liked this volume, but it sort of paled in comparison to Death of Captain America, and my not really caring about Namor or the Human Torch didn't help. But it gets an extra star for Natasha being a badass and, of course, forever and always, Bucky's guilty self-destructive angst.

I'm still absolutely loving this series.
I thought the villain was really interesting, both of them. I would have liked a bit more on The Man With No Face specifically. A lot about him was not explained, and I really needed more information. The lack of full explanation on him was really the only weak spot that I saw.
I loved how much time Bucky and Nat spent together. Their dynamic is so great. Just the fact that Bucky considers her his best friend makes me so happy.
It was also cool to see Namor's response to Bucky as Cap, as well as see a bit more about the original Human Torch. I think I would have liked to found out more about what Namor did after Bucky and Steve "died", but I guess there's other comics for that.
Overall, still really enjoying this series. This might not be the strongest book so far, but it's still really good.

I have zero feelings about Bucky Barnes confronting his past as the Winter Soldier and just wanting to save a part of his history. None. Everything is fine. I'm not crying.

Maybe more like 3.5 stars. Not as great as the rest of Brubaker’s run, but I do like seeing Bucky still figuring out how to balance his current Captain America life with his past as the Winter Soldier.
