Another banger from Elle Nicoll! 🔥 Drawn to Mr. King was all about the ANGST. I swear this couple had me screaming at the book like it was a reality dating show. 🤣

Honestly I loved their chemistry even when I was wanting to choke one of them out for being silly!

Megan is one of the sweetest fmc's I've ever read. She's got a heart of gold and honestly puts up with quite a bit! Her talent is raw and natural and I love that she starts to really believe in herself throughout this novel!

Jaxon is so smooth, he's got intimacy DOWN. He's also a silly knucklehead who really had some inner work to do, and I'm so glad he did! It just goes to show with him that grief is never linear and it doesn't matter if you lost someone recently, or a long time ago, the pain is still the same and it's still something you have to mentally work through. đź’›

From the moment Mr. King was introduced quickly in Mr. X I knew I was going to love his story.

Drawn to Mr. King is the third book in the Men Series which follows Jaxon King and Megan Curtis.

I absolutely loved how Elle wrote Jaxon. He’s a strong, hard-working, family oriented man but also is very very vulnerable. When he is dealt a few bad hands we see a side of a male character we usually do not get to see and it felt fresh!

Megan is an independent woman who does what she can to follow her dreams. After a night Megan couldn’t forget and a promise to call her turns into her basically being ghosted she came to the conclusion that she just wasn’t good enough and will never see him again…until he turns up at her work.

The back and forth between these two feels real and raw. Both having gut reactions to situations - which cmon, don’t we all do!

This book sent me on a rollercoaster of emotions…laughing, smiling, tearing up, screaming into my kindle at both Jaxon and Megan and my heart full after the epilogue.

I adore Elle’s writing and this world she has made in her Men Series and I cannot wait to read whatever she puts out next.

Don't know how I feel about this one. The pregnancy plot is done well. The main and side characters are interesting. But the MMC flip flops like a fish out of water that it becomes annoying.

I wanted to rate this book higher, but my gosh at the whiplash. I think Jaxon and Megan spent more time apart than they did together. I understand where he was coming from, but it was almost too much to read. The back and forth got really old very quickly for me.

I love the idea of Jaxon, and there was a lot of potential with the story. However, I can’t get past the whiplash Jaxon unleashed on Megan and me. And the random Ryan scene was a bit weird and unnecessary. And WHAT was that baby name????

Overall, it was an okay read, but Jaxon changing his mind every few pages was too much.
