Very cute love story . I’m soo glad they overcame the obstacles and got there happily ever after … wonder how the son reacted to baby sister

The third book in 'The Men Series' is once again breathtakingly beautiful. Elle always captures the right emotions throughout the book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

first off the story just takes off right away with no character buildup (and I mean like in the middle of the woman's thoughts essentially). BUT I decided to ignore that and kept going and while it wasn't the best book I've ever read in my entire life it also was just cute enough to keep me going. well not cute since it was basically just smut hidden around a (spoiler?) pregnancy trope LOL

I might try to read some of her other books sometime but it'll probably just keep being I need to fill my time books (which is still a good thing) 3.75/5

3.25 stars. An enjoyable read, if not one with tons of 'staying power' for me. Jaxon's 'hot-and-cold' actions toward Meghan were a bit overplayed in the book summary, and I didn't find him nearly as much of a player/jerk as I expected. The characters were reasonably deeply developed, if a bit 'tropey.' I honestly would have probably rated the book a 3.5 or 3.75 if I wasn't so utterly annoyed at the name they chose for their child, as included in the epilogue.

Age gap, surprise pregnancy, second (third/fourth) chance, billionarie, office romance. This had most of it. Though, as with modt second chance romances, I usually think he was forgiven too easily, because all that push/pull he did to her in such a short time, was really damaging. However, I liked the ending and that he started working on himself with professionals so he could be better for her and their new family.

Potential triggers: cancer.

I gave up in this about 20% in. The rampant fatphobia and internalised misogyny was terrible. I kept going in the hopes it spoke improve; alas, no.
