Hyeon has earned a place as a palace nurse, a highly distinguished position considering her status. She’s called to the palace under strange circumstances and asked to serve as an alibi for the Crown Prince himself. A massacre has occurred and young special investigator Eojin has come to solve the case. The prime suspect? Hyeon’s mentor. She knows that her mentor is innocent and will do anything to prove it including inserting herself into the investigation. Over their time together, Hyeon and Eojin start falling for each other. Can they solve the mystery of the massacre and find the real killer before it’s too late? Will their love last when there’s nothing left to solve?

When her mentor is accused of multiple murders and the police chief seems uninterested, palace nurse Hyeon realizes she must find the real killer. This historical fiction book set in 18th century Korea has everything – coming of age, romance, court intrigue, and a mystery. – Stacy M.
