I was really expecting to love this but it was only okay. I couldn't seem to like the main character, and the characters took way too long to come to the main plot developments - 'twist' seems too strong a term.

If it had been illustrated by Tyler Crook then I think it would have been visually stunning, but even with the beautiful red leaves everywhere the art was still... only okay.

This was an incredibly appropriate autumn read. Love the story premise and execution, and the art pushed this into the legendary category. Highly recommend snagging the collected edition.

Overall a fun short horror story, felt the end was a little rushed/lacked pay off compared to the rest, but overall enjoyable. Amazing art.

Atmospheric with small-town creepy vibes. Gorgeous and creepy illustrations that made me squirm at times. Felt like it could have had some more time to build up the main character's motivations and justify her choice at the end of the climax. Made me feel similar things to Midsommar in its more suggestive and atmospheric tension than outright horror until the very end. Fun ride!
