As the last book in the starcrossed series, I had very high hopes for this book. And they were met.

It was so bittersweet following along all of the characters, knowing that it was the last time I'd get to be in their minds--and the first time I'd get to be in others.

I loved that the loose ends were all tied up and we saw the characters experiencing some actual joy. I loved the final battle sequence and I really enjoyed seeing how all of the characters grew and developed as people.

That being said--I have one gripe. Jerry. That is all I will say on the topic. Jerry :(

Other than that, I'm happy with how the story ended and as much as it's sad to say goodbye, I'm excited to see what comes next.

Wow. This was the best ending to one of the most influential series of my life. Josephine Angelini has been one of the constants in my life on regards to my books.

The Starcrossed Series was and still is on the short list of things to grab if my house ever caught on fire. I’ve been dreading reading the last book of the series. Some part of me wasn’t ready to fully let go yet. I’m aware that I can always reread the series. And I do. Somewhat regularly. The issue isn’t the fact that I can reread the series. No, the issue was the fact that I would only be able to read this book for the first time once. I would only be able to experience these feelings for the first time, once. The problem would only ever get resolved for the first time, once. This series, for me, is one of those that I would love to forget completely just so I could go back and read it for the first time all over again.

It was soooo good though. Like, I can’t even be mad at it. Endless was soo soo good. The loose ends that were left frayed during Timeless were tied up so nicely and perfectly. Helen and Lucas were able to grow and mature so much more than in previous books. Helen especially was able to grow by leaps and bounds. She was able to be confident and sure of herself in a way that she struggled to do throughout the entire series, even after she became aware of her scion history.

Lucas was finally able to do what he struggled to do throughout all the books. In fact, in Endless, we saw all the main characters really come into their own and start to become comfortable in their individual roles.

Angelini also managed to make a book that made me sob like it was one of the recent Disney/Pixar movies. She hit me right in the feels and I didn’t appreciate that. I will say that the only scene that made me cry uncontrollably like I was watching Big Hero 6 for the first time again was when I read the words “The End”. Angelini never actually wrote those words in Goddess.

It was so final, I’m not gonna lie, it hurt me. A lot. This is the end of a decade. (Technically Starcrossed came out in like 2013 but eleven years doesn’t really roll off the tongue like a decade does.) I just can’t wait for the start of the age. Endless was perfect for me.

This book was HEARTBREAKING! Was a heart wrenching conclusion to an epic romance and epic series. Josie really knows how to give her readers heart palpitations.

Endless really wraps up all the unanswered questions from both eh original trilogy and the three new books that came out after.

This book focuses on grief and forgiveness. I think we see some absolutely gorgeous character development in this book.

When annotating this book, I tabbed for ‘love’. I found that most of the love aspect was more, caring and sweet moments between all the characters. I loved how much relationship building we also all got from this book. Follow friends, couples, and a family, so I think this aspect of the book was really important and I’m so happy that Josie gave us what she did.

I really wish we got more of Lucas, his thoughts, feelings, and internal struggles. For the conclusion of the serious it would have been nice to get more from him than just Helen. Helen is the main character, but Helen and Lucas really do come as a pair.

This book broke my heart and then put it back together again and I’m still processing.

Oh, what an amazing ending to the Starcrossed series! This is so bittersweet and nostalgic for me. Tears were definitely shed but I'm also filled with so much love as I close the last page of Endless. If letting go of the series seems painful, Helen will also learn about that in this superb finale!

I thought I read the conclusion of Josephine Angelini's beautifully written YA romantasy series when I was a teenager who read Goddess back in 2013. So while I count my lucky stars that Josie gave us 4 more books in the last 18 months, I can't believe this is our final goodbye to Helen, Lucas, Orion, and everyone else from Daphne to Ladon (to name a few of my favourites). These characters were so lovable, relatable, and flawed, despite most of them being Scions or Gods. Watching these characters grow through the challenges they've faced throughout the series fills me with pride and closure.

What a rollercoaster journey of emotions, with a well-rounded ending! Throughout the Starcrossed series, Josie deftly crafted memorable characters with her masterful storytelling, lyrical writing and fantastic world-building (ha!).  Sometimes the hype and anticipation of a finale can be disappointing, but Endless exceeded my high expectations.

While I'm sad the series can't literally be endless and this is goodbye for now, I'm so excited to re-read the entire series to relish in these memories with Helen all over again. As a huge Daphne fan, I'm especially looking forward to re-reading Scions and Outcasts like a duology! Mini vague Endless spoiler:
Josie gives Helen and Daphne the most perfect farewell in Endless, which gave me all the feels!!

Starcrossed is the kind of series that will always have a warm space in readers' hearts. I couldn’t recommend Endless and the entire Starcrossed series more. If you love the sound of a Greek mythology YA romantsy with badass characters and brilliant writing, then get your hands on the entire 7-book series now!  Warning: You will need tissues, but it’s so worth it.

Thank you, Josephine Angelini and Sungrazer Publishing, for sending me an ARC of Endless.
