Matt Haig really surprised me. This is the first book I read from him, and certainly not the last. His way of writing is so effortless to read; it makes his point come across very easily. I caught myself laughing out loud while reading, or sympathising with certain feelings he describes.

As for the book itself, I loved how every chapter is small and has a specific topic; this made the book fun to read. The quotes and extra evidence to prove points helped me trust Haig. He knows what he’s taking about, you feel it while reading.

Haig’s perspective really resonates with my own. I think that this book is a very good way to understand and help anyone find solutions against anxiety and stress. I would definitely recommend to anyone who would like a quick fulfilling read. I really enjoyed it, and I think anyone else would too.

After 132 pages I know that
-he hates social media ( except Twitter)
- he is anxious all the time
- this man have deep dark hatred toward anything to do with technology
- he hates the clock
- he hates time
- HE IS TERRIED OF THE WORLD
I think he would love to live in ancient time when human still communicate with random noises and hunt animals.
But most of the thing he wrote was understandable, I know that social media is a toxic place but it does not have to ruin our life. This author sounds like he spent too much time comparing himself on social media and decided to write a book about it.

Im not the type to DNF a book, but this book is so boring. It felt like he was saying the same thing over and over and over again. I get it social media sucks. But the funny thing is I found this book on social media.

This is my first non fiction book and I'll stick to the fiction genre.

So these are 310 pages of saying “Stay away from social media, stop watching the news and be afraid of robots” over and over again
