Beautifully written and much needed aro-ace representation.
Love it!
The characters are super authentic and the pacing is fantastic.
I'm a big Shakespeare fan, so theater and Shakespeare playing such a big role in the book makes it a total win.

Also, as often as it was mentioned in this one, I definitely need to watch Moulin Rouge. I wanted to watch it because of Ewan McGregor, and then I somehow didn't finish watching it because I just remember the beginning. Now that I'm reminded of this, it's weird, like maybe I did watch the movie and just can't remember it

I enjoyed this book. I wish the solution didn’t fall so perfectly within the definition of aro-ace, but everyone’s journey is always different. It at least made me feel a little less alone in my personal journey. Definitely very cheesy though.

As a teen this wouldve been 5/5 stars no notes, but as a 22 yr old (that doesn't really read YA) its a bit of a different story. But I love what this covers and shows <3

This book has me speechless. I read it after falling in love with Alice’s ‘Heartstopper’ series and adaptation, and I was not disappointed. The novel ventured into the uncomfortable depths of exploring one’s sexuality and I loved the unexpected twist of there being no direct romantic relationship, but instead the love stories of side characters and emphasis of platonic love.

I love when a fellow aroace just gets it. Also the nod to the intense platonic love / qpr at the end had me SOBBING profusely. Happy pride to me rn
