This is the fourth book in The Princess Diaries series. This book was mainly focused around what Mia was thinking about in terms of her relationship with Michael. She didn't know what he was feeling and she was being hard on herself about not being good enough. Of course there was a conflict. Grandmere must always be in control of the situation.. Well onto the fifth!

Mia is sometimes so annoying but sooooo entertaining. Girl has no chill. Gotta love her.

Definitely the most mid of this series according to my current self. Plot spans what feels like a single week and it's just Mia being anxious and low self esteem and I can't unsee my adult perspective that I wish there was one less year of difference between her and Michael but then god forbid I sound like an anti lol

These books have become like crack to me, it's ridiculous. I know the target audience is half my age, but frankly the books are darn right hilarious.

I feel like something happened between books 3 and 4. The first three books were funny and adorable but a bit inconsistent. Book 4 was more consistent and linked to all three previous books and was overall better written. Mia's friend crew got more screen time (Shameeka and Tina especially). Mia was slightly more dramatic but I still had a great time. 😊😊
