Now I’m surprised too since I didn’t like Pallbearers Club…I actually hated the Pallbearers Club, dare I say?

But damn! Paul really got with this one like holy shit this was one wild ride. I loved all the alternating time periods my favorite parts were the screenplay periodically placed within the story. It’s a really unique plot and had my confused and guessing to the end.

Now my last question is when do we get the movie? It only seems appropriate that we have a movie to go along with Horror Movie.

I finished this and literally said wtf did I just read!?

This is part screenplay within a book within a book, and I was hear for the weird ass ride! I love the play with mixed media, and how unhinged and unreliable our narrator is. When I got to the end, it almost felt like the last chapter was out of place but the more I thought about it the more I loved its point.

Not quite a 5 star because I didn’t really feel creepy or uneasy while reading it, which is what I’m looking for in a horror, but I still appreciated this and look forward to reading more from this author.

Extremely unsettling, a masterfully done way to capture a film in prose that heightens the uncertainty of what really happened and what was only the script.
