Very interesting to get some backstory on Lucien!
SpoilerAnd even more interesting to see just how much of Mollymauk was in there after the resurrection. I KNEW IT.
It's quite well written, as well. I listened to the audiobook, and Robbie and the cast did excellent, as I knew they would. (Though I'm a little surprised nobody clued Robbie in on how to pronounce Fjord's name.)

Overall enjoyed the book. If you haven’t watched campaign 2 you may want to do so before you pick up to read this book especially for the second half of the book is straight from the end of campaign 2. I did like the build up in the beginning and I enjoyed the different perspective we see from Lucien while he is going down this rabbit hole of events.

this took me forever to get into reading it as an ebook at first, but once i switched to the audiobook it was a lot better.

i really strongly disliked lucien lol so this wasn't the best fit for me. i also struggled with all the tomb takers characters, just because there were so many and none of them, including cree, felt fleshed out at all.

i understand that this is a tough story to tell, but nothing about lucien stood out to me in particular, except for that he was annoying me the entire time with his whining about grandure and whatever the "glint" was about. someone (idr who, might've been molly) at some point calls him the chosen one, and he behaved like one the whole entire time despite only becoming somewhat special once he becomes the nonagon.

i've heard a lot of praise for this book and i'm glad people are enjoying it, but i can't relate. good for them, though, and good for me that the other cast members read their lines. robbie did a really good job with this, too

Interesting backstory for Lucien. I wish we had spent more time with the tombtakers after they fully formed, especially with Brevyn. But overall, really liked hearing Lucien’s internal monologue as everything with the Sovnovum happened and getting more context for how Lucien ended up like that. Also liked seeing Lucien’s perspective from the end of the campaign. I could just hear Talisen and Matt’s voices throughout.
