3.5 stars - Not the best, but didn’t hate it. I also haven’t found a single Holiday book I love and I’m not the biggest rom-com reader so my expectations weren’t super high. But this was cute enough! Hallmark movies meets OnlyFans - literally. It was sweet and funny, but I could have used more witty banter and less obvious bad decisions being made. I had a hard time watching the characters make one bad decision after the next. I mean I know there could be no story without the bad decisions but all decisions were unrealistically bad. Like they didn’t think the strip club was a bad idea or the statement wasn’t going to hurt Bees’s feelings (just to name a couple of the said bad decisions)? Just silly. I also felt moments of just being ready for the story to be over which usually isn’t a good sign. But overall, a cute Christmas treat of a book! I definitely think this could be a 5 star read for plenty of people.

I really loved the concept of this book. I loved how progressive it is about women/sex work.
Bee and Nolan are two people who never would’ve imagined themselves to be the stars of a wholesome Christmas movie. Both of them have secrets that could ruin their movie. Bee is a porn star and Nolan has a bad boy reputation from his boy band days. He is on track for rebranding himself, but it turns out, he’s had a crush on Bee’s prior work, and vice versa. They were both caught off guard and pleasantly surprised when they found out they were starring in this wholesome Christmas movie together.
I loved the Christmas vibes and I really loved Bee’s character a lot. I just want to protect her at all costs. The only reason I did this as a three (I would do a 3.5) is because I didn’t feel enough romance in it for Bee and Nolan. I wanted more build up, but already had the satisfaction of them being together pretty early on. It was a short time period so it was kind of hard for the build up. I was really frustrated with Nolan when he initially did not stick up for Bee after they were found out. I was relieved when he realized how much he messed up. Definitely a spicy read, I just wanted more romance. With that being said, I can’t wait to read the next one with Kallum!

This should have been better than it was. It wasn’t bad, but I kept expecting more.
I really liked that Bee and Nolan were each other’s celebrity crushes. If she was just a fan instead of being famous in her own right, I don’t think this would have worked.

Porn Star and Ex Boy Band Member make a Hallmark style Christmas movie. Chaos and steamy fun ensues.

DNF at PG. 310 This book missed its mark for Me. I will say it was a very interesting concept having a porn star transition into a movie star but this books writing was very different from other authors I've read. I felt like I was dragging through the story, constantly pointing out particularly parts and wording that I just didn't like. Once I got to a certain part of the novel I realized it was just not my type of book and put it down for good.

I liked how the book ended despite it being super quick, I would have loved more details about the aftermath of the love confession interview and how they both managed to make comebacks from that. I did think there were slightly too many spicy scenes that I ended up skimming through, but overall I found myself enjoying this book.

*update on my re-read. And I still love it! Even more the second time through, to be honest. Bee and Nolan are so cute together, and I am glad I gave it another read before I moved on to book 2!
There is so much fun in this book, and Julie and Sierra make a great team writing Christmas Notch, I can't wait to read more from the duo.
I went into this one blindly and enjoyed it quite a bit. Some of the repetitive "fat" comments and "boy bind" BS were a bit too much, but I just let that slip by.
A cute romance, that involves a plus size $ex worker meeting her teen idol by chance, filling in for a Hallmark-type Christmas movie, on the fly. Obviously not really plausible, but it's FICTION so I won't let that bother me.
Cute, steamy holiday read.
