So I'm not giving a star rating, because I can't decide how good it was. If I change my mind, I'll come back and edit this.

I didn't really enjoy this one, but I'd say it's definitely essential reading for the series. There are relationship updates, new species, and a better understanding of some enemies introduced (as well as a continuation of the Ellimist/Crayak plotline).

I always forget how much I love Jake until I'm reading his perspective. Jake is great!

This was one of my favorite stories in the series so far.
Out of nowhere, the Ellimist shows up to ask the kids to be his champion in a battle against the Howlers on a faraway planet. That's awesome! And the twist that the Howlers are just young children who don't know what killing means? Incredible. Also, Jake and Cassie kiss!!!

The Animorphs reread continues! I vaguely remember reading this one before, so I probably read it once or twice and didn't read it over and over like I did some of them. It features the Ellimist and his even more annoying enemy Crayak, who in addition to being annoyingly overpowered is also an enormous jerk.

I've always really liked this one. It's cheesy, but Crayak freaks me out, and Erek's moral dilemmas are interesting. And it's nice to see the Animorphs in a completely different environment, for some reason. And also I'm beginning to realize how completely morally unsound what they did was. Like, they went there with every intention of killing the Howlers. Just to kill them. I'm surprised Cassie didn't object more strongly. I understand why she didn't--she was able to justify it. But still. I'm not able to justify it anymore.

El primero de esta saga que leo en inglĂ©s y... la verdad es que se lee muy bien. NingĂșn problema con el idioma ni nada.
