not as good as the first 3 but the plot of all 4 of them was basically the same with slight variations so idk why i'm acting shocked. i'm about 105% ready to beat Mr. Poe's ass at this point

This series gets better with every book! The stakes are slowly getting higher, the secondary characters getting slowly more incompetent, and the Baudelaires getting slowly more independent. I am having a blast reading this series!
The writing feels snarky, and educational, and I really appreciate it. I would suggest this book to anyone who likes middle grade novels!
