All around lovely illustrations and an encouraging story! It felt a touch weak and rambling at the beginning, but by the end the plot got pulled together very nicely. The parallels of Lora and Alexa grappling in their own ways with what growing up means to them and how to grow without abandoning parts of yourself were beautifully and tenderly done- I think many readers will be able to relate!

This book was fun to read! It’s a sweet story with lovely graphics, touching on the pains and joys of growing up, as well as what that feels like when others seem to be growing up so much when you’re not ready.

Que livro mágico 🥺🥹😍

Não estava à espera que ele fosse mais virado para o Halloween/Outono, mas uma coisa é certa: ainda bem que eu li este livro. Sinto que o livro foi escrito para o meu eu adolescente. Aquela rapariga que tinha medo de crescer, que não queria perder a magia. Identifiquei-me imenso com a Lora e acho que muita gente se irá identificar com ela!
