This book pulled on my heartstrings and made me ache with nostalgia. Such a beautiful book about growing up, growing old, and moving on when you lose a friend.

didn’t realize it was a children’s/ya book at first but once alexa got her own story it was really good!

What a lovely surprise! I loved this graphic novel so, so much. The two main characters were so charming and well-written, and the story really resonated with me. The timeless themes of growing up and looking for a place to belong were beautifully handled, and I may or may not have almost sobbed on the train while finishing the book. Although this is classified as middle-grade, the story is definitely perfect for any age; I would highly recommend. <3
