The vibes hooked me and the cuteness kept me. This story is cute and sad and heartwarming all in one. I LOVE the artwork.

My favorite part is at the back of the book where the artist/author discusses her process. It's a beautiful behind-the-scenes look at writing a graphic novel that every kid deserves a peak at.

Read this book in your favorite cozy sweater.

This is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel about how to keep hold of your inner magical, wonderous child-self as you grow up, as told by the friendship of a spooky, spunky girl and her ghost friend.

Got an ARC of this middle grade graphic novel. It's witchy, cute, and hits you right in the feels. Magic and fun don't have to go away just because you get older. Adored Séance Tea Party. Will read this again with my niece and nephews.

This story was so heartwarming. I thought it was interesting how the theme of change and growing up was mirrored in Alexa and Lora. Lora worried about growing up and losing her imagination while also feeling left behind by her friends that were ready to start growing up. Alexa on the other hand quite literally cannot grow up but still notices how the world has changed and continued on without her. Seance Tea Party is a love letter to childhood and a reminder that we can create our own magic at any age.
