say it with me folks: miscommunication is the worst trope!
this book was fine literally up until then. I always feel like the miscommunication trope is such an obvious trap that so many books fall into when they need a 3rd act conflict.
but besides that, v cute and lighthearted and the kind of sweet that gets stuck in your teeth

SPOILERS

I really liked this book until about 3/4's of the way through.....

THEN she got pregnant. This book was phenomenal in the way it address purity culture, shaming, and breaking down barriers of what you were taught growing up. How the FMC rediscovers who she is and decides how she wants to live her life is great. But, when she all of a sudden get pregnant from the "first time" she has sex outside of marriage? It feels like it goes against EVERYTHING that this book was setup to be.

I really almost DNF'd it but pushed through for basically the plot of the side characters. I enjoyed the first half, which is why I still gave it 3 stars, but was really disappointed in the ending.

Love this series, so fun and I enjoy the cast of chaotic but loveable characters. It’s a pretty fast read, took me only a few days to finish and I would read chunks of it at a time.
