Fun fact: Each god is based on a real musician (David Bowie, Prince, Florence + the Machine, Daft Punk, etc), some more obvious than others.

I know that this comic is sometimes hasty and confusing. But I liked it anyway. It was a great start to the series. I'm looking forward to reading the next volume! And, oh boy, that plot twist at the end...

I loved the work this team did with Young Avengers, so I decided to give this project a try. And despite the first volume being a bit hard to follow, “The Wicked + The Divine” is [good] weird, ambitious, with absolutely gorgeous art.

Immensely enjoyable.
