This was a great pick me up from my reading slump! The dialogue moved smoothly and the art style was an added bonus. I can't wait to get my hands on Vol.2! 10/10
3.5 to be exact. In terms of plot, it was so-so but goddamn if that artwork isn't the best I've seen in a long time! Every character is so bloody attractive and that's probably why I'm going to read the rest of the series; just to look at the beautiful art.
3.5 mostly for the incredible art. The story was a bit difficult to follow. I wish, since this is the first book in the series, they developed the story more and provided more back story. I would like to continue the stories but I'm not rushing to read the next book.
Oh this was so fucking good.... And it's set in London!!!! I need more!!!

Something about this I just really couldn't click with. I almost DNF a few times but pushed through. I felt like I'd missed something when reading which is a shame, just not for me. Will try some other books from the author as did like the writing style
This story is like a beautiful puzzle. It looks pretty and I don't mind putting the effort into completing it but the dog ate some of the important pieces so the puzzle is forever incomplete.
The missing pieces are the character development and story gaps. You get a glimpse of where they're heading but at the same time you're not quiet sure. The art was fantastic, the overall idea has potential but it's a shame the story was poorly written. Unfortunately I won't be reading this series any further because of this.

I found it slightly difficult to grasp what was going on at the beginning but once i'd got into the story, I really enjoyed it. I loved the art style. It was beautiful, and I really enjoyed the London setting. It was so fun to see places I know depicted in a graphic novel. Will definitely be reading on with the series.
