I don't know how I have made it this long without reading one of the "Creepy" books. Creepy Crayon is a well-written story of a young rabbit who is struggling in school. He stumbles upon a crayon in his pencil box who suddenly takes over all aspect of his academics. Cute, creative, and creepy, this is an awesome story. I can't wait to read the two I have missed!

Another great story in the creepy carrot series. Again we follow Jasper the rabbit and a creepy situation. Seriously what is happening in this town.

Jasper is easily distracted at home when it's time to study and constantly finds himself ill prepared for pop quizzes. This all changes when he finds the purple creepy crayon that seems happy to see him. After that he aces every quiz. The crayon corrects his wrong answers, but it gets out of control and Jasper realizes it's not right.

We love this series. It's fun and although "spooky" it's age appropriate. We continue to love the illustrations and the use of black and white and only using purple for color. We will continue to look for books by this author.

Such an enormous lesson contained within. This  may be the best in the series. I think this should be recommended reading for all kids.

Buset. Ngeri juga tuh krayon. Aura jahatnya kenceng.
Intinya mah, lebih baik hasil tidak sempurna tapi usaha sendiri, daripada hasil sempurna dengan kecurangan.

If you know me and my daughter you would know we enjoy spookier reads hhaha. So I decided the grab The Creepy Crayon because I thought she would think it hilarious. I didn’t realize that this was book three until my daughter said ohh he’s wearing the creepy underwear I’ve read that book lol. It was fast paced and cute with great illustrations.
I would recommend this to others for sure.

This one is my favorite of the series. I love the judgmental eyebrows on the crayon and the kids crack up at this one.

It's not a 'me' book, but anyone who liked the other Aaron Reynolds books will probably enjoy this.

Another rabbit thriller, and Jasper Rabbit is getting deeper and deeper into the spooks. The [b:Creepy Carrots!|13259987|Creepy Carrots!|Aaron Reynolds|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1424982083l/13259987._SX50_.jpg|18461490] just wanted to be left alone. The [b:Creepy Pair of Underwear!|31491773|Creepy Pair of Underwear!|Aaron Reynolds|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1499341068l/31491773._SX50_.jpg|52183087] seemed more misunderstood than nefarious. But the Creepy Crayon truly seemed possessed of a malicious spirit, causing Jasper Rabbit to neglect his schoolwork and use the magic crayon to get get good grades and win awards without putting in the effort himself. At the same time, Jasper gets increasingly creeped out by this whole scenario, and like the creepy underwear he tries unsuccessfully to get rid of it.

Unlike the first two books, he eventually succeeds in finding a way to pass the (cursed) crayon along to another unsuspecting creature. These books are definitely getting creepier and I cannot wait to see how the creeps visit Jasper Rabbit next time.
