The start was good but I found myself getting bored at the end. Still a great short read, just saw myself not liking it as much as I did with Mary Calmes' other books. Might be at the bottom of Mary Calmes books for me honestly.

Not my favorite Mary Calmes book but K.C. Kelly's narration was great so I enjoyed it anyway.

Awww when the first started I was worried it was going to bounce back and forth between present day and their old relationship and I thought it was going to be so heart breaking to hear about everyone he left but thankfully we didn’t get that. Instead we got Web being the absolute sweetest man to ever live. He was great with the kids, like gentle parenting without even knowing he’s doing it because he’s just a happy and gentle man, not to mention how much love these two shared.

I really liked the doctor being a whole new happier person with him and wanting to show him off!

2/5 on spice. 1/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. This was erotica and technically there was a lot of sex in here but because of the way the story was it didn’t really feel like their was a lot of it.

I just read and loved a book which had a character who was a gay cowboy version of Mary Poppins and featured a fluttering, quivering, and pink puckered hole(s).

I think this is Mary Calmes' face every time she snares someone with her weird voodoo shit.

Other than an infuriating inability to see his own worth, Weber Yates is perfect. He's very sexy, honest, caring, intuitive, self-reliant, competent, affectionate in public, kind to women and children, and adored by almost every human and animal who comes in contact with him. Oh, and he's a tall cowboy and he cooks. Perfect. By all rights, I should hate him. But the author's skill is such that I actually adore him just like everyone else in this book. This is a sweet story about Web slowly allowing himself to believe that he truly matters to the man he loves, and that he is good enough to be worth keeping, and that his lover is not better off in the times when Web leaves him. A wonderful choice for reading after something dark and harsh.

After finishing reading it i asked myself "what was the point of it?" and couldn’t muster anything . Not that I did not care for them, actually I was invested into their story too much that their sudden abrupt change of mind felt shallow and boring. It's like angst level 100 to "joke on me!" situation.

Ik miscommunication can lead to serious issue, show that properly, no! Too much content in too limited space, It's messy, overcooked.

4.5 stars. Aw shucks. Wasn't expecting what came out of this book (which, I have to admit was some serious happy tears). I also have to admit, though, that I picked up this book and instantly judged it by its cover (which didn't include reading the description on the back). I loved it and I'm glad I didn't read the back quite frankly. This is definitely going on my favorites list.
