“But I also think she sees herself as a supporting character, even in her own life story.” Well, this hit home.

Honestly, this was a fun read. I loved Holland and Calvin, and the broadway aspect of it was fun for me. I love musical theater. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star read for me was that it started out a little slow.

Christina Lauren are a dynamic romcom duo. I can go into any of their books and know that I'm in for a few laughs and a MC to get behind and root for. After reading The Unhoneymooners, I had to get my hands on the back catalog and fly through them asap. Roomies is no exception.
Holland has a little case of infatuation for the stranger and his guitar. After an adorable and questionable meet cute, she gets Calvin introduced to her uncles and an audition for the part of a lifetime. The only problem is Calvin is an illegal resident. Naturally, the solution is to embark on a marriage of convenience and pretend they're madly in love. Only Holland isn't quite pretending.
I really enjoy a good fake relationship trope with a side of unrequited love. The relationship journey and plot are strengthened by the perfect supporting cast and I can't help but adore Holland's uncles in particular. As always, looking forward to reading more from this author duo.

Very cute read. I loved the characters and the setting of the book. I wanted to know more and then the book ended 😔

Did not enjoy this at all

me re costo terminarlo

I liked this book but the ending felt unfinished- like there was all this build up and then it’s resolved in under 10 pages.

Great book!

A little hard to get into in the beginning, but once you get through the first part you won’t be able to put it down! Such a good book by a great author.

4 stars

This was a quick and easy read for me. I did enjoy the characters, but I thought that the climax and resolution were a bit stressed... As in, I don't think that it was needed? I think I would have appreciated a different plot line there. But what is a romance story without the characters breaking up before realizing that they are meant for each other?

Holland Came across as a bit too crazy for me... Her actions made no sense... a bit of a strange read, But i was laughing out loud in the humorous way it was written
