This was a book that I've been wanting to read for years and now that I finally have, it's literally worth the wait. I've completely fell in love with the characters, their stories, the city, and everything in between. I felt as if everything was real and my heart was just left filled with emotion.
This book really brought back my motivation for reading and I could not be more thankful.
I've always loved the trope of "fake relationship" or in this case, "fake marriage" that ends up becoming real. This was beautifully done and it has just become one of my favorite books of the year.
I could not have asked for anything else from this book and it's definitely a book that I would recommend to anyone who's looking for a good romance book. This book is a little steamy but it's honestly less descriptive than other books I've read and it definitely focuses more on the love story aspect of it which is one of my favorite things in new adult novels.

I liked it but this wasn’t as good as josh and hazels guide to not dating.
I was really enjoying this until the end. There’s no epilogue so I feel like it just ended and I have questions! Like, a whole bunch. Ugh, I feel incomplete. I was so into it then bam...the end. Oh well, I still liked everything before that.
I'd been looking forward to read something from this author duo for a long time and I'm glad I finally made the time.
Roomies is a great story with an original plot, fun and fast paced. I really enjoyed everything about it, loved the writing and was impressed by their accuracy of the immigration interviews. I also found the characters to be very relatable and thought Calvin and Holland were perfect for each other.

The storyline was okay and I followed the book pretty well but the ending left me asking questions. They didn’t get the ending that should be deserved. That is why I didn’t give it 3 stars. Endings don’t have to have a happily ever after to get a good rating but it also can’t seem rushed and leave the reader wanting more of the story. Truly disappointed in my first ever Christina Lauren novel.
I read this in 3 hours. Loved it so so much. Made my heart do a little pitter patter and it was surprisingly emotional annnd Broadway.
Ok y’all. I am ALL ABOUT Christina Lauren audiobooks on Scribd. This one was a bit slow at first and just when I was about to give up (20%) BOOM 💥 I loved Calvin! And the narrator nailed his accent. Holland wasn’t my favorite but she didn’t annoy me. Really easy and enjoyable listening!
Honestly like the book was good, I enjoyed reading it. The ending was just sucky. It felt like it just cut off and didn’t really end.
Christina Lauren took a topic of green card marriage and music to make a fantastic story. Holland has been drooling over Calvin her subway street musician for months. She has the chance to have her uncle who in charge of the hottest musical on Broadway hear him, and he wants Calvin to be in his musical. Can two people who marry quickly for Calvin to stay in the US, really find love.
