Newsflash
Knox is still a waste of space.

OKAY the tension was PALPABLE between these two. I loved it! Lucy knows how to do that right.

Like the first one, some out of pocket, blocks of ice after the water things. There was an interesting twist that got me for a moment and it was interesting in the moment but then we got reminded of how out of pocket it is. Some aspects towards the end felt very repetitive so that was annoying.

LINA is a queen, plain and simple ladies and gentlemen. Bad ass in its finest form.

Nash was similar to Knox in this book in the fact that he was very indecisive on wether he loves or hates her. Like in this book he was leaning towards love more than hate so that was better but once again, PICK A SIDE!

Nothing else much to say on this.
Wasn’t a five star because of the repetition towards the end which dulled it for me but other than that, it was pretty good.

Didn’t love as much as I loved things we never got over, but still really enjoyed. Lina makes smarter choices than most female mcs in any romance book which I appreciate. I like the extended drama w tate dilton, duncan hugo, and cereal aisle guy. And also getting to know Nash better… except he doesnt fit the broody type imo. I was glad he was able to find himself bc that version of his character suits him.

This was my favorite of this series so far. I loved this entire book. Nash and Lina are fantastic, and I love them. I can’t wait for Sloane and Lucian’s book! Can we talk about how Lina and Nash decided to name their daughter Jayla after Nash’s mom? 🥹 I love them, and I loved everything about this book. I love this series so much, and I can’t wait for the next book. Overall, I give this book 5/5 stars, a possible temporary Hall of Fame shelf spot, and I’d definitely read it again.

It was not my favorite, but it was a really good book. I didn't get into it that easy which makes it harder for me to LOVE the book like I have with some others. I didn't get the feeling that I didn't want to put it down, but I really enjoyed reading the book anyway. The side plot is still a mystery for me, I don't get the plot or what it did for the story, but I loved following Nash and also the backstory of Angelina. Really looking forward to see what story Lucy have cooked together for Lucian and Sloane (shipped them from the beginning)

I LOVED these two characters and their connection! But 25-30% of this book was not needed. It dragged down the plot and messed with the pacing. Too bad as these characters deserved better and it took a 5-star read down to 4.5.
