very quick read that i thought i would enjoy - the idea of winter/christmas season not going as planned seemed appealing to me, but unfortunately i was let down. i felt that this book tried to be more informative rather than tell a story, which made it seem more like an annoyed tumblr rant and wasn't very enjoyable. though, i did enjoy the extra content on the spring household, and nick and charlie's relationship, but that's about it.

This Winter was a good additional story to Heartstopper and I think it’s also a good start for Solitaire. I read this book in between Heartstopper 4.
I also got a signed copy of this book, really happy about that :)

18 minutes - This was an interesting look into the family dynamics of the Springs and the Nelsons, and the way mental illness affects them all. I think a more in depth discussion would have improved it, but for a short novella, it was done decently.

Loved this story. It was certainly a heavier topic then most of Heartstopper but the issues raised in this book were discussed carefully. Alice has a way of bringing issues up and talking about them in a way that helps and shows how each side is feeling. Oliver is precious and I enjoyed reading from Tori’s POV and can’t wait to read Solitaire. Charlie as always is my favourite and Nick is adorable as always.
