This is my 2nd time reading this story and I loved it. The 1st time I read it I only liked it.
It's a short story about Ria and Emmet. How they met etc.
It's fast paced and flows smoothly.
Both mc's are sweet and lovable.
The steamy scene, when it comes, is hot and intimate and just full of love. You can really feel their connection to each other in that scene and throughout the story.

This one is a low 3 for me. The premise is very similar to all the others, but for some reason this fell a little flat in my opinion.

„Hauch der Versuchung“ ist eine Novelle aus der „Psy Changeling“ Reihe von Autorin Nalini Singh. Man kann diese Kurzgeschichte theoretisch vor dem ersten Band lesen, da die Ereignisse im Buch davor spielen.
Der Schreibstil ist flüssig und angenehm, die Seiten fliegen nur so dahin. Generell sind mir richtige Bücher lieber als Kurzgeschichten, „Hauch der Versuchung“ gefällt mir aber recht gut, das Ende ist meiner Meinung nach auch gelungen. Etwas mehr Spannung hätte nicht geschadet, da es sich hier nur um eine Novelle handelt, kann ich jedoch darüber hinwegsehen. Die romantischen Szenen stehen eindeutig im Vordergrund. Mir persönlich ist das teilweise schon etwas zu viel des Guten. Die Hauptprotagonistin wird zudem übertrieben von ihrer Familie bemuttert. Das finde ich ehrlich gesagt etwas nervig. Mir ist schon aufgefallen, dass in vielen Büchern der Autorin besonders viel Wert auf Familienbande gelegt wird. Bei erwachsenen Frauen finde ich so etwas übertrieben, mir ist das zu viel Drama.
Trotz Kritik hat mich die Novelle aber richtig gut unterhalten. Ich bin daher sehr gespannt auf die Reihe, werde sie auf jeden Fall weiterverfolgen, hoffe allerdings, dass der erste Band dann etwas Actionreicher ist. Von mir gibt es 4 Sterne und eine Leseempfehlung für alle, die Romantic Fantasy Bücher mögen.
