Trying for find all the Psi-Changleing short stories, I thought I'd read most of them but I'd missed this one. And I was missing out, love RIA she's sweet, spunky and strong ... a perfect match for possessive leopard and his pack.

This was a nice fill-in novella for some of the minor characters in the saga. Also a nice look at the early years of the pack in San Francisco.

Another solid psy-changeling novella! I love love this short romances centered on secondary characters, and this one specifically set before the star of Slave to Sensation really helps to give perspective of how much things have changed up until the Trinity series.

I really enjoyed getting to see Emmett and Ria’s story! I recently found out about this novella and I had to pick it up since I liked Ria from the moment I met her in Slave to Sensation. Now that like has grown into love not only for her, but for the entire Wembley family. Especially her grandmother, Miaoling. I adored Emmett as well and now I’m wishing that we could see the couple more often in the series.

This novella was romance heavy, which I was definitely okay with, but I sort of missed all the action that I’ve come to expect from A Nalini Singh book. I think that’s what knocked my rating down a star. Other than that this novella was a good introduction for the series and I’m glad I finally read it!

Loved reading this again, of the leopards taking over their town from the Psy, and this couple is so great!

Great novella, I was suprised by how complete and full this was for being so short.
